Inusagi the planet has been around for thousands of years. They had a royal head of state that was known as a Chief or Chieftess. Normally Inusagi was a neutral planet relying on trade with other planets such as Naboo that is located nearby. Much like Naboo, Inusagi is a planet having lush green hills and mountains. Water surrounded the continents making the planet full of life with its many species. Long ago Inusagi was under Empire control. The Empire made the species who lived on Inusagi unwilling servants of the Empire. This made the Inusagians wary of other governments and their way of life. During an annual Sakoola Blossom Festival, rebels who were against the Empire came on to the planet and massacred everyone in the Chieftess palace, including both Empire and Inusagians alike.
After the defeat of the Empire by rebels led by Luke Skywalker, Inusagi was freed from the grips of the Empire's tyranny. Once free they returned to their traditional ways of remaining neutral to other governments holding a great amount of mistrust for all others. They no longer have a royal head of state after the death of the Chieftess. Instead they are led by an elected Governor who works to ensure the planet's safety as well as fostering trade with other planets.
One day the Sith arrived on Inusagi creating chaos and disrupting the peace of this once peaceful planet. Inusagi needed help, but who would help them since they remained all alone. Two members of the Guardians of Light Jedi Order came to Inusagi to explore the world. They learned of what was happening and got in touch with the Governor of Inusagi. They assisted those on the planet and gained their trust. The Guardians of Light Jedi Order needed a place to settle and build an enclave. This is how a covenant was made with Inusagi that also advised them to enter the Republic for the safety of its citizens. Thus would ensue a change to Inusagi’s neutral government status forever.
